A second PSO, this one for Jiu-Jitsu events has been granted in Ontario, Canada.

This is great for the sport and the community as we can now compete again in tournaments and events at the Provincial, Regional, National and International level. Here is the message from board member, Tony Isaacs in the public Facebook group: “The Board of Directors of the Ontario Jiu-Jitsu Association is pleased to release the following memo from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport regarding our status as the PSO for Jiu-Jitsu.

It took some time but now with PSO’s in place, the storm has been weathered and we can all get back to training hard for events that will be happening starting next month! The MTCS webpage is in the process of being updated to reflect our status.

In the coming days, you will find our preliminary 2018 schedule as well as the JJIF (Jujitsu International Federation) rules on our webpage – the Ne-Waza rules are identical to the rules you have been competing under for many years.

We appreciate our members patience and support over the Summer and Fall as we had to cancel our usual events.

We will continue to work hard to develop Jiu-Jitsu in the Province of Ontario.

Keep an eye on our webpage for upcoming events across the Province.
