Greektown Casino-Hotel has just opened its brand new food hall featuring seven new places to eat, including a ramen noodle bar. LOCATION: The new eateries are located right on the casino floor.

You can eat until 2am with at least one eatery remaining open 24-hours. You don't even need to go inside the gambling area to enjoy the food, which means guests staying at the hotel under the age of 21 can go there.

The Casino spent $15 million to turn the former Market District into Monroe Market and Noodle Art.

"With options ranging from authentic Japanese ramen to American classics, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy," said Jason Gregorec, chief executive officer of Greektown Casino-Hotel.

THE FOOD: Plenty of comfort food here including fried chicken, collard greens, baked mac and cheese, biscuits with honey, and sweet potato pie.

What struck us about the food here and at all the eateries was the quality. If you're looking for a kick with your chicken, there's zero spice.

Executive Chef Drew Lovell says nearly everything is made fresh on-site. "It's a hybrid batter between an American batter and an Asian batter," said Lovell.

The $25,000 Indian Sidecar cocktail at Commonwealth Bar and Lounge is mixed with 1901 Croizet cognac – a reference to Indian Motorcycle’s founding year – Grand Marnier Quintessence, fresh lemon and a gold sugar rim. The Lobby Bar has a cocktail menu inspired by classic novels and literary tales to match the hotel’s literary connection.

This is The Old Man and the Sea, featuring fresh squeezed orange and lime juice, orgeat and Avua Amburana Cachaça tequila with a mint garnish.

MGM Springfield offers 34,000 square feet of meetings and conventions space, including a pre-function area that incorporates a salvaged stained-glass dome from the 1910 United Electric Company building.

The name and setting of The Chandler Steakhouse hold a special place in Springfield history. South End Market is MGM Springfield’s modern food hall and features six unique food and beverage venues including Hearth Grill, Jack’s Lobster Shack, Bill’s Diner, Wicked Noodles, Wine Bar and a gelato and espresso counter.

The restaurant is located in the former Union House Hotel, later renamed The Chandler Hotel. The Armory – formerly the 1895 Massachusetts State Militia building – is now a year-round events venue for MGM Springfield.
